I now have purple hair! YAY! It's temporary, so it'll be gone in a month or so, but for now it's fun. I think i'm going to become addicted to dying my hair now...:)

I just spent the last week of my life driving around Iowa and Minnesota on a road trip. Of course we picked the coldest week of the year to do so! Yet despite the fridged weather it was amazing. We visited friends, saw random sights (the biggest walleye in the world, the ice cream capital of the world, etc), and ate tons of awesome food (cuban, thai, mexican, italian, vietnamise). It was basically amazing. So yeah, life is good right now, even though classes start tomorrow.
I'm really looking forward to my writing class this next semester. It's called "Unlearning American Culture". Doesn't that sound perfect?! I'm so excited. |

Last night was terrible. I went to bed with a huge headache and then woke up a few hours later with a panic attack and then threw up all night. Hopefully it's only a 24 hour flu, but man it sucks. I feel completely miserable right now and hardly got any sleep last night. :( |

I haven't written here in forever, but life has been crazy.
Christmas break is coming up and I'm excited to relax and be with my family. I miss Gier. I've always had him around to talk to whenever I needed him, but now he's a phone call or email away, instead of across a wall. I have so much to talk to him about when I get back.
Life is stressfull and crazy, but I have amazing friends to get me through it. I never thought I could get so close to people in only three months...three months - it's hard to believe. |

It snowed last night! There's now about four inches of beautiful packing snow covering the ground. And the funny thing...is that it was 70 degrees out 2 days ago. Heh.
I had an amazing time last night talking with Clare and Katie and dancing in the freezing rain. And then Sarah and I ran outside in the snow...barefoot at 1 am. Life's had its ups and downs lately, but today it's up. |

I made callbacks for the show I auditioned for - which is awesome! So they had callbacks at midnight. I sat and talked to two people from my theatre class in the black room for 45 min. until the campus security kicked us out. Wish me luck on getting into the show. Please?
Tomorrow it's Gender Bender day on campus, so I'm wearing the clothes of one of the guys in my dorm and he's wearing my stuff. I must say it's going to be pretty awesome. It makes me really happy that our campus has a coming out week and a gender bender day. It gives me hope. |

| why is it snowing in October? |

I saw pure joy today when my roommate saw the snowflakes landing on her coat. She was just like a little kid, wrapped up into a different world: spinning around, trying to catch flakes, peering at them from all angles. She makes me smile.
I auditioned for a show today. I'd really love to get in, cause the director is one of the greatest guys ever. He's a senior here, and he's always nice to everyone and brilliant at directing. He's one of those people you just love watching, because he makes life his own. |

I went to dinner with my roommate and friends at a great Indian restaurant in town. I laughed really hard and drank mango lassi and tried to forget about homework for awhile.
I was walking to class today and I saw this boy walking ahead of me who's walk was just like my brothers. Watching him made me miss Gier so much....
I have no time. |
